A 29-year-old woman is brain-dead after being shot in the neck while visiting her Brooklyn mom and becoming involved in a social-media dispute, cops and police sources said Monday.

The victim was found bleeding outside 715 Dumont Ave. in East New York around 8:20 p.m. Sunday — after a bullet passed through her brain stem and lodged in her right cheek, cops and sources said.

Her relatives heard a gunshot and found the woman lying on the ground outside their apartment building, sources and police said.

The victim had been visiting her mother at the time and became involved in an argument her brother was having online with one of their mom’s former tenants, sources said.

During the social-media back-and-forth, the brother allegedly received a threat, and the victim took her brother’s phone and continued the dispute, sources said.

She then went outside alone and was shot in a targeted hit, sources said.
