Grimes' fitness routine is ... something

Y’all, I think Grimes may be the key to getting into Area 51.

can I get experimental eye surgery to un-see the Grimes post

— priscilla page (@BBW_BFF) July 16, 2019

@BBW_BFF, joking about the singer’s new Adidas sportswear campaign with Stella McCartney. Grimes announced it on Instagram and outlined her fitness routine, including 20-25 minutes of screaming, and experimental eye surgery to cure seasonal depression. The post is likely intended as a satirical take on sponsored content in sportswear.

let’s ask grimes how she escaped from area 51 so we can get a better plan on how to raid it

holy shit, Grimes' ~fitness~ routine is a million times wilder than anything Gwyneth Paltrow has EVER attempted.

weird supplements? OK. swordfighting classes? cool. psychic traveling to other dimensions? ... sure. but all this AND experimental eyeball surgery? unparalelled. pic.twitter.com/HzznWWk8Qq

We’re about a decade from someone starting a new quest to go find Moby Dick.

@ProfCiara, tweeting about video of biologist Lizzie Daly, pictured, alongside a giant barrel jellyfish off the coast of Cornwall, in England, on Saturday. Daly and camera operator Dan Abbott were working on a series called “Wild Ocean Week” when they came across the giant. Barrel jellyfish, the largest species found in British waters, often reach about 3 feet, but Daly’s find appeared to be as large as she is. Daly and many Twitter users were thrilled by the jellyfish, but others weren’t. “This is what my nightmares look like,” tweeted @MmaNatashajane.

I hate to break it to you, but that's not human-sized. That thing is bigger than that human.

(oh and never go in the ocean) https://t.co/WYPpKRjVD5

Let's stop focusing on all the negatives happening on twitter and just appreciate this giant blobby boi instead https://t.co/WZ5cWutsym

I feel like this “twerkpit” concept hasn’t been fully thought out.

I don't know what cult this is but I'm in

— Bogdan 🍒 (@BogdanIonut130) July 16, 2019

@BogdanIonut130, responding to rapper Iggy Azalea’s announcement that her upcoming shows in L.A. and New York would contain a “twerkpit” so fans could “abandon all their fears about looking foolish and just dance.” Azalea had tweeted last week that the shows would ask fans to “SCREAM THE WORDS TILL YOU HAVE NO VOICE” and “LEAVE LOOKING LIKE YOU GOT JUMPED.”

cant wait to shake my non-existent ass at home while watching the live stream!!

Is it at least 7 feet wide for the surprise drop split?

Positive news: The U.S. is coming together to remember one of our greatest universal achievements.

Didn't watch it...camping in Oregon. We had a transistor radio and just as Armstrong was about take his first step, a commercial came on. Still bitter after all these years.

— Stu R. (@stur_16) July 16, 2019

@stur_16, sharing his memory of the day Apollo 11 astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins landed on the moon. “CBS This Morning” asked Twitter users where they were for the landing ahead of Saturday, its 50th anniversary. Tuesday was the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11’s launch.

Our family was huddled around the tv watching CBS and Mr. Cronkite, I will never forget it.

I was a kid eating Spaghetti-O’s on the day of the lunar landing. I remember it like last week.

News with a silver lining: Luke P. continues to be a judgmental brat, BUT Hannah finally let him go!

Luke acting as if Hannah's choices this season are mistakes he is willing to be the bigger person and forgive is really disgusting. He was never in love with @AlabamaHannah, he was obsessed with the idea of her - and he tried to force that false idea onto her #TheBachelorette

— Amber Dextrous (Little Ronnie) (@AmberLeighKoch) July 16, 2019

@AmberLeighKoch, criticizing “The Bachelorette” contestant Luke Parker, pictured, for slut-shaming “Bachelorette” Hannah Brown on Monday night’s episode. Before their fantasy suite date — where they can spend the night together — Parker told Brown that if she’d been intimate with any of the other finalists, he would leave, and suggested doing so would make her a hypocritical Christian. Brown replied, “I have had sex, and Jesus still loves me,” told Parker she’d had sex with another contestant in a windmill, then eliminated Parker.

Hey @luke_parker777, just a little reminder that women can choose to have sex when they want to. It doesn’t mean they love God any less. Women can joke about sex, too. That doesn’t give you a right to use your religion to shame her for it. #TheBachelorette

— Alex (@allicata5) July 16, 2019

Tonight we've seen consent portrayed as sexy as hell, and slut-shaming and purity culture shown to be the complete opposite. I rarely say this, but fuck yeah #TheBachelorette
